Directions to the 2009 Openhouse

Note: Parking may be a challenge at the Open House so the use of public transportation is encouraged!

For safety and security, the USGS campus will not be open to passenger vehicles during the event. The main entrance on Survey Lane will be closed (except for emergency vehicles and foot traffic). Handicapped Parking will also be available (see campus map for locations). Traffic managers stationed at various locations can direct you to nearby parking throughout the surrounding community. Upon arrival to the vicinity, start looking for signs directing you to USGS parking.

To get to the U.S. Geological Survey:

From Bayshore Freeway (US 101), take the Willow Road exit WEST to Menlo Park.
Drive 1 mile to Middlefield Road,
Turn RIGHT (north),
Drive 2 blocks,
Turn LEFT on Linfield Lane.
Follow directions for USGS parking from this point.

From El Camino Real (US 82), Turn EAST on Ravenswood Road in Menlo Park,
Drive to the T-junction at Middlefield Road,
Turn RIGHT and proceed 3 blocks.
Turn RIGHT on Linfield Lane.
Follow directions for USGS parking from this point.

http://www.transitinfo.org/. Bus routes follow both Middlefield Road and El Camino, but check updated route information before travelling.
